Nimay Goswami is a writer and director exploring the depths of human experiences through films, theatre, and sound. His work blends the mystical, magical, and deeply personal, incorporating spiritual undercurrents into contemporary settings.

A graduate of the London Film School with a Masters in Filmmaking, Nimay has directed independent films such as The Ventriloquist and Waiting for Kalki, which have been showcased at prestigious international film festivals, including Lift-Off Sessions in Berlin, Paris, LA, and New York, Cornwall Film Festival in the UK, Montecatini International Film Festival in Italy, amongst many more. He continues to create new work across film, theatre, and commercial projects, delving deeper into stories that awaken and transcend.

Alongside writing and directing, Nimay actively explores sound design, bringing immersive textures to his stories. His commercial work complements his independent projects, balancing artistic expression with client collaboration.

Based in Mumbai, he continues to craft stories that question and inspire.
